On Thursday, I took these photos - we had had another dump of snow this week. It reminded me of a time a couple of months ago when Tim and I were driving home from Ptuj and singing along to the 'J is for Jesus' CD. We sang "Imagine if the world was black and white and colours could not be seen... Thank you God for colouring in the world." I looked out the window and all I could see was white snow, a white sky and dark trees in a forest. Black and white. It was quite depressing. I didn't have to imagine the world being black and white at all! (I guess the authors of that song have never lived in Europe!)



But it does mean that I really appreciate the sunshine and the green grass when it appears again. When the flowers start to poke their way through the ground and the leaves sprout on the trees. We had some sunshine yesterday and today and it is amazing how thankful you can be to see green grass and to feel the sunshine on your face.
Thank you God for colouring in the world!
