The problem with having a large family in Slovenia

We had some friends over for morning tea today. As per usual, they brought with them the obligatory present. This included chocolate for the boys - but not a mini packet of smarties each; three blocks of chocolate - one for each boy.

We don't allow our children to eat a lot of chocolate. So our collection of chocolate seems to increase all the time and we can't keep up with it. Currently our chocolate block pile looks like this:

When we first came to Slovenia and we visited another family, I resisted the norm and bought something different for the children (some stickers or a book or something similar). Now I do the unthinkable and give away some of the blocks of chocolate we have been given - so that I can somehow reduce our pile of chocolate!

What are we going to do when they start bringing a block of chocolate for Sophia too?!
